In need of a quarterback, the Redskins are expected to make a play for the second overall pick in April's NFL Draft, which is owned by the Rams. With the pick, Washington would select whichever quarterback is available -- Andrew Luck or Robert Griffin III.

One of Miami's priorities this offseason is to upgrade at the quarterback positions, whether it be via the draft, free agency or trade. The Miami Herald reported on Monday that the Dolphins have an ultimate goal of landing Peyton Manning, provided he becomes a free agent and is cleared to play. Manning, who missed the entire 2011 season after undergoing neck surgery in September, could become a free agent if the Colts elect not to exercise a $28 million roster bonus he's due by March 8.

Rumors have swirled around the Colts and Peyton Manning this offseason, but longtime NFL reporter Michael Lombardi doesn't believe the future Hall of Famer will go anywhere. "I have said this emphatically: Peyton Manning will be a Colt," NFL Network's Michael Lombardi said Sunday. "I believe Peyton Manning won't be traded, and I believe if Peyton Manning plays anywhere next year – and that's not a 100 percent certainty — that he will play for the Colts." Manning's contract calls for a $28 million bonus so the Colts have a big decision to make.

Archie Manning says his son, Colts quarterback Peyton Manning, would prefer to stay in Indianapolis. "Peyton kind of likes his roots in Indy," Archie told the New York Post. "We'll see what happens there. If that doesn't work and he can get healthy, we'll see. That'll all work out. He's just trying to get healthy." The Colts have the No. 1 pick in this year's draft, with many believing they'll take a quarterback who can succeed Manning. Peyton's main focus remains on rehab after undergoing his third neck surgery in 19 months back in September. "He's got a great attitude," Archie said. "He's just fighting and scratching, trying to get healthy. We'll see what happens."

Talk of the Colts cutting ties with Peyton Manning and the lack of faith in New York's Mark Sanchez has led to rumors that the future Hall of Famer could soon play for the Jets. "People I talk to in the league just don't see it happening," La Canfora told NFL Total Access. "It just doesn't add up to where (Manning) wants to be."

The Titans aren't going to trade or release Chris Johnson this offseason. Tennessee coach Mike Munchak said there is no question that Johnson will remain on the team's roster. After a slow start to the season, Johnson finished with 1,047 yards and four touchdowns. He had one 100-yard performance in his first eight games, but enjoyed three such efforts in his final eight contests.
